The Burning Woman of the Grey (Poem)

When I first saw her,
She was wrapped in flames.
It took me a day
To approach this strange woman,
But I did.

It's a burning within,
That compels me to confess
All that I can feel,
Even about the burning woman,
But I digress.

When one abandons the Flames,
She is what they fear.
She is abolition of light
To a terrible extreme,
The world of the Grey.

In meeting her,
I was forced to see,
That the world I thought fiction
Was not lost in imagination,
But was my reality.
