I Can Teach You (Poem) + Update

I can teach you, dear,
With the pen's endless might,
To see with eyes clear,
And grant you the true sight.

With this offer, I beg of thee,
Lacking a lover's heart,
To enter the land of the free,
Leaving a lover's mark.

The land of the free is not real,
Not in what seems concrete,
But rather that which is ideal.
Do ignore the deceit.

The world will repeatedly trick and lie,
And lie down you must not,
For their evil will strike down the blue sky,
And will be searing hot.

Torment will be all you understand and uphold
Should you ignore my words.
Hatred is the corrupted blood of the dead world,
And has struck down birds.

If you truly wish to see with eyes clear,
Believe in me and let go of your fear.

As of two days ago, I completed my one-hundred page script for Script Frenzy. This is the first writing I've done since (the poem was written a week ago), and I have to say that it came at almost an urge.  Normally I will just waste my breaks at school away doing nothing, but today I had this urge to write. I am actually behind on some assignments for a class of mine, so I will most likely catch up on those later, but right now I am focusing on this right here. The results of the creative writing contest have not been revealed yet and I am still curious to see how I did. I am not expecting to win; however, I am expecting a good read once they reveal the results, as they publish it in a booklet. Anyways, I ought to get some work done. Until next time,
